Fiestas de Taos

¡QUE VIVAN LAS FIESTAS!

THE TAOS FIESTA COUNCIL PROUDLY INVITES YOU TO JOIN US FOR THE
2021 FIESTAS DE TAOS
THE HISTORIC TAOS PLAZA    JULY 23 – 25, 2021

Regretfully, the Taos Fiesta Council, Inc. notifies all that the 2020 Fiestas de Taos are cancelled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. For 40 consecutive years since 1981, the Taos Fiesta Council, Inc., a non-profit organization, has been contracted by the Town of Taos to coordinate, organize and manage the annual Fiestas de Taos and all Fiesta related activities. For the health and safety of all, the governing body of the Town of Taos has cancelled all community events through Labor Day 2020. This is the third instance within the last 100 years that the Fiestas de Taos have been cancelled. The prior was in 1969 in which the archives note the reason as “Hippie Problems” and 1946 in which the reason is not recorded.

Know that the Taos Fiesta Council, Inc. is committed to the continued celebration of this centuries old cultural, community event and look forward to the opportunity to once again carry on with our valued tradition, on the Historic Taos Plaza, July 23–25, 2021.

We encourage all to heed the directives of the CDC, local, state and federal authorities.

God Bless All and may He keep each of you and your loved ones safe.
Cariñosamente,
Taos Fiesta Council, Inc.
